Stunning Discounts on Stun Guns

June 29th, 2009 admin No comments
Stun Guns are becoming one of the most sought after self-defense weapons being bought these days. Just a few years ago a person had to go “underground” to find this type of weapon. The “legitimate” stun guns were reserved for police and military, and even they weren’t using stun guns on more than an experimental basis in pilot programs.

Now, not only can you find stun guns, you can find discount stun guns. When they were first released to the public there was very little selection and the cost was prohibitive. These days stun guns are much easier to find and depending on the company you buy them from you can find discount stun guns at an affordable and competitive price.

Why the change in availability and price? There a couple of main reasons. The crime rate – even in small, isolated areas – has risen sharply during the past decade, especially during the last several years. In addition, most people want solid self-defense weapons that are non-lethal; they do not want to have to use a gun which could – and does – end up being lethal much of the time.

One of the main reasons people are switching from regular guns to stun guns is that there are too many fatal accidents with actual guns. We are hearing all too often about children who find the family gun and accidentally shoot and kill their brother or sister or one of the kids in the neighborhood, not realizing that actual guns have actual and often irreversible consequences. Parents who thought they had hidden their gun well are then left to deal with the emotional, legal and other consequences – especially the impact on both families and all the children involved.

Stun guns are much safer. Many are childproof. In the vast majority of incidents involving stun guns there are no fatalities or permanent injuries. In the vast majority of incidents involving guns with bullets there are fatalities, or, at least permanent injuries.

If you are considering purchasing a weapon for self defense, consider a discounted stun gun. Do some research to determine how they work and which one is right for you. Learn about how the stun gun will immobilize an attacker long enough for you to get away and get help. Find out which reputable companies sell discounted stun guns and which one will work for you.

why do the stupid british government insist on making stun guns illegal….I would like to genuinly buy one for self defence, but i can’t as they are illegal….and if you get caught you face the same punishment as someone walking down the street with a loaded gun!…..and also, surely the teenagers of britain who go around stabbing each other would prefer to harmlessly electrocute each other rather than stabbing each other with huge knives???

here’s one with lots of them. First off, we only let Robert stun himself for no more than a second. This was because we had him use so many, one after the other. We didn’t just do this for fun. It was also meant to show you how well certain stun guns work. Our conclusion was, the 500000 volt baton was by far the most powerful. This is due to the extra ampage it carries. Please support us by going to our shop. We have shirts, hats, and much more at: www.cafepress.com/okee?pid=2450999 The song …

What about stun guns and excited delirium?

June 25th, 2009 admin 1 comment
Determined to get there! asked:

In a seven-month-old pilot project, Miami police have been using sedatives and cooling solutions to prevent the deaths that sometimes occur in people who have been shot by electric stun guns, also known as Tasers. According to a story in USA Today, the police say that the sedatives and salves – which, they report, may have saved at least a dozen lives so far – are not needed to treat people for the effects of the stun gun but for the reason that the police had employed the stun gun: a controversial condition that has been described as “excited delirium.” Excited delirium is characterized by extremely high body temperatures and other life-threatening symptoms, often as a result of the use of cocaine or other street drugs. The condition is considered controversial since professional medical associations do not recognize the diagnosis and since nearly all reported cases involve people in conflicts with police.

What are current laws pertaining to the use of stun guns or tasers for self defense?

Adriftfeline asked:

If the laws vary from state to state, please let me know. Thanks!
Old Fuzz: you’ve made a good point. The device could just as easily be used by an attacker as for defense and that’s probably why some states/cities have banned them altogether.
