Stun Master Multi-Function Stun Gun is one of the newest stun guns available on the market today. This gun features 2.7 million volts of power, a super bright Led flashlight, an alarm and a flashing red emergency light. It also has a disable pin wrist strap so if the assailant takes the stun gun from you, the pin will disable it and will not transmit a shock until the pin is reinserted. As with all stun guns, the Stun Master Stun Gun is a contact weapon. This means that the two prongs on the top of the gun must be in contact with the attacker for the gun to work. The most effective area to deliver the shock is in the upper shoulder, rib area, or the upper hip area. The longer you are in contact with the attacker, the more effective the stun gun becomes. If you discharge the stun gun for 1-2 seconds, the assailant will be shocked and somewhat confused. A longer shock of 3-5 seconds will leave him disoriented and in pain. The charge is released from the gun into the attackers muscles, converting the blood sugar to lactic acid, dropping him to his knees. The electrical shock interrupts the neurological impulses in the brain, causing loss of control of muscle movement. This is what prevents the attacker from continuing his attack. He is unable to stand for up to 15 minutes, giving you plenty of time to get out of harms way. As with all nonlethal weapons, after using them on an attacker, you want to escape, then seek help. You should never stay around to see if he is going to get back up!
I really like the built in LED flashlight built in this stun gun. It gives you a very bright light at your finger tips, while offering you the security of knowing you also are packing a powerful weapon. Carrying this gun in your hand while crossing a parking lot or entering a building alone will give you the confidence to know you can protect yourself in scary situations. Being very aware of your surrounding is always important. If you “feel” something is not quiet right, always listen to your instincts.
