Keychain Pepper Spray Can Be the Holiday Gift That Saves a Loved One’s Life

January 7th, 2010 admin No comments

Self defense is going to become a bigger concern as time goes on. As everyone knows the economy is going down badly. When people start to get laid off and lose everything they have some people become desperate. That is not the case with everyone but there are people out there that may do things that they would never have thought of doing. They might try to rob you at the ATM, break into your house, and just try and take you out because you have a nice car. I know this isn’t a very pretty picture but it is the truth. All the top experts on the subject all admit that the crime rate is surely to go up.

So what can you do?

You need to be prepared. The police are not able to protect every last person at all times. So you need to take matters into your own hands. And by that I don’t mean go out and buy a gun and become a vigilant crime fighter. What I am referring to is taking steps to ensure the safety of you and your family. There are several ways to do this with home security or self defense products. For today I am going to talk about one type of self defense product unparticular. That product is keychain pepper spray. This is becoming a very popular method of self defense.

What’s the reason for this?

Well that’s simple, they are very small but they pack a huge punch. There are many different types and styles you can get but that is more of a matter of preference. The great thing about keychain pepper spray is the fact that it easily w ill attach to you keys so you can take it with you everywhere. Think about it, how often do you leave you house without your house keys? Not a lot, at least on purpose right? That’s what I thought.

In a time when there are more and more rapes and muggings everyday it is direly important to make sure you have something to keep you safe. With a small bottle of pepper spray like this you will have the element of surprise if someone tries to make a move and rob you. If they are approaching you and see your keys in your hand they will probably not be overly concerned with that. Then when they get close, BAM! They are on the ground whimpering.

When it comes to a self defense situation like this have any advantage you can get can mean the difference between life and death. If you have that small bottle of pepper spray and hit your attacker right in the fact you will have plenty of time to escape. The power contained in that little bottle is enough to take down a grown man and that is precisely why it is so popular these days. It is very easy to use and very easy to get your hands on.

So when you do your holiday shopping this year I recommend getting several bottles to give your friends and family. They man fantastic stocking stuffers and are much more useful that any little toys you might buy. Not only are you giving them a unique gift but you are potentially saving their life. I’m sure that is something that everyone can appreciate.

Keychain pepper spray can be the holiday gift that saves a loved ones life, nothing is better than the gift of life.

Can Tasers Defend Against Armed Robberies?

August 9th, 2009 admin 3 comments
excelblue asked:

I often have to travel through sketchy parts of town, and I’m getting quite annoyed that people can mug me and make off with some money that they didn’t earn. So, instead of just letting them have my wallet each time, I’m thinking about getting a fairly high-end taser for self defense.

The question is – will it be effective against an armed robbery? How about a robbery with some sort of sharp weapon? How long does a taser incapacitate, and will I have enough time to get away?
I understand that there may be restrictions depending on where I live – I did a bit of research and found that it’s OK for me to carry a taser where I live.

I don’t care about losing a taser cartridge – I consider it a bullet.

When will americans tell their elected officials that tasers shouldnt be used on citizens for small reasons?

Police policies of when and how to taser a person are way too liberal. We as americans need to to our elected officials that we only want tasers to be used in deadly situations. Police officers will tase people for small resaons because their policies allow it. Ive even read news stories about innocent people getting tased because they were mistaken for somebody else.

Should police be able to use Tasers to administer street justice?

The police seem to be using Tasers more and more just to punish people who talk back to them or are uncooperative in other ways. Should we officially allow this?
Just to be clear: the question wasn’t whether the police should be able to use Tasers at all, but rather whether they should be allowed to use them on a whim, just to punish a suspect.

When a stun gun is used on an person, why is the ’stun’ not transfered to people in contact with the target?

shadowmind13 asked:

I have told that when using an electroshock weapon (stun gun) that there is no risk of the ’shock’ being transfered to an individual who is in physical contact with the target. Having seen demonstrations, I believe this to be true. My question is why; what is the scientific explanation for the ’shock’ failing to transfer to another body?

somebody asked:

for how long?

I just bought a 400,000 k stun gun. I am probably going to win the idiot of the week award, but I was thinking about using it on myself before I carried it with me while walking and potentially used it on someone else, but before I stun myself I thought I should find out how much people say it hurts. Please share your knowledge, insights, tips, advice, and thoughts on stun guns and anything associated with stun guns.

thanks.
